All Good Things Must Come To An End

As you all know, I have been doing WordPress plugins and supporting it for the past 6 years. These 6 years of my life, I have been through my polytechnic education, my national service as well as my university education.

I just graduated from university in December 2009 and have been looking for full-time jobs. I am offered a full-time job and will be starting work on 1st February 2010.

I regret to say that I am NOT ABLE to provide support for my plugins anymore due to my full-time job commitment. I will leave this forum open and let the community help one another.

However, I WILL still update my plugins whenever I can and you still can report bugs to me via email and I will try to fix it.

How to determine wordpress version?

I'm trying to upgrade a wordpress codebase to 2.6.  But I have to know what the current code base is at so that I can diff it with an archive original codebase in order to determine which files in the codebase had changed.

Is it me?  Or is it really difficult to determine the what version a wordpress code base is currently at?  I couldn't find anything in config.php and I don't see anything like version.php.  I've looked in upgrade.php, browse the database, and still it is not obvious.

i think, /wp-includes/version.php would be your solution

I am using version 3 but at the time of registering to this forum, the highest option was 2.9

What he said. Also you can see the version number in the footer of your admin dashboard. By default it can also be seen under the meta tag "generator" if you view the source code of your blog (it is however a good idea to hide that meta tag from the public eye as a safety measure). :)
