All Good Things Must Come To An End

As you all know, I have been doing WordPress plugins and supporting it for the past 6 years. These 6 years of my life, I have been through my polytechnic education, my national service as well as my university education.

I just graduated from university in December 2009 and have been looking for full-time jobs. I am offered a full-time job and will be starting work on 1st February 2010.

I regret to say that I am NOT ABLE to provide support for my plugins anymore due to my full-time job commitment. I will leave this forum open and let the community help one another.

However, I WILL still update my plugins whenever I can and you still can report bugs to me via email and I will try to fix it.

WP-Ban make my website to load very slow

Hello,

1. WP 2.7.1
2. Amazing Grace
3. http://ultrastei.ro
4. WP-Ban 1.40
5. PHP v5.2.8 / MySQL v5.0.67-community

I have this website http://ultrastei.ro with your amazing WP-Ban activated for about 3-4 month. Everything was working perfect untill 2 day ago when my website start to load very slow (20-30 sec. loading in browser). I deactivated WP-Ban and stars to load the website very fast like usual. After this I uninstaled WP-Ban, delete it from plugins folder and reinstall again clean. The same problem was appear instant. The website start again to load very slow. You have any idea about what's happening? I was not banning myself or other mistakes.

I don't see why WP-Ban is slow unless it has problem resolving IP to Hostname on your server. Or the other possibility is that so happen that the ram usage of your site is just nice, but when you activate WP-Ban, it goes above the ram usage.

Thank you so much for rapid reply! The problem is solved now. I wrote a mail to my internet provider and seems that the problem was from there. Everything is now working perfect again with WP-Ban enabled. Keep up the very good work! Greetings from Romania!
