All Good Things Must Come To An End

As you all know, I have been doing WordPress plugins and supporting it for the past 6 years. These 6 years of my life, I have been through my polytechnic education, my national service as well as my university education.

I just graduated from university in December 2009 and have been looking for full-time jobs. I am offered a full-time job and will be starting work on 1st February 2010.

I regret to say that I am NOT ABLE to provide support for my plugins anymore due to my full-time job commitment. I will leave this forum open and let the community help one another.

However, I WILL still update my plugins whenever I can and you still can report bugs to me via email and I will try to fix it.

Feed appears to be banned
« on: 06 May 2009, 08:12 »
Hi,
my feed appears to be banned.
my blog's url: http://david-debeer.com
wordpress version 2.7.1
php - 5.2.9
mysql - 5.0.75

Until last week everything was fine, but now suddenly there's a problem. If I try to access the rss via my blog's front page, it gives me the "You are banned" message, same as is displayed for this plugin's screenshots.
I've checked and the feed is not being delivered. Seen in Google Reader, I can read all blog posts until last week, but none thereafter.
I run my feed through feedburner, and while the Feedburner bots are accessing my site, when I asked to see the XML file, it told me it cannot process it.
I've uninstalled WP-Ban, deactivated it, and deleted it from my wordpress content plugins folder, and the problem is still persisting.

I would really love to have this problem go away, can anyone help me please?

If you have deleted WP-Ban, there is no way the ban message will still be there UNLESS you are using something that is caching the message.

sorry, yes, I'm using WP-SuperCache.
It did occur to me that that's why the ban message is still being displayed, but why would the feed still not work? shall I just give it some time and hope it resolves itself during the course of the day?

That is because the content is still being cache. I did not use WP-SuperCache and WP-Ban before, so I have no idea how long will it take. But see if you can refresh the cache or something

Took approx. 2-3 hours after cache was cleared. Working now. Thank you.
