All Good Things Must Come To An End

As you all know, I have been doing WordPress plugins and supporting it for the past 6 years. These 6 years of my life, I have been through my polytechnic education, my national service as well as my university education.

I just graduated from university in December 2009 and have been looking for full-time jobs. I am offered a full-time job and will be starting work on 1st February 2010.

I regret to say that I am NOT ABLE to provide support for my plugins anymore due to my full-time job commitment. I will leave this forum open and let the community help one another.

However, I WILL still update my plugins whenever I can and you still can report bugs to me via email and I will try to fix it.

Users getting banned for no clear reason

Not sure how this happened but I have some angry users reporting they are banned from my site.  I have also confirmed that I myself am banned from this page: http://www.scannerbytes.com/2009-audio-archive/ but only when using IE.  When I use Firefox I am able to get to that page.  I can get to all other pages on my site but seem to be banned for just that page.  I have only banned 2 ip addresses from other countries that are heavy spammers.

I have removed wp-ban and all it's files and still the ban persists.  For some strange reason I was able to get "unbanned" by removing the plugin, reinstalling it.  However today I am back to being banned and I'm sure the same goes for other users.

What can I do to unban myself and others?

My site is www.scannerbytes.com.  I would appreciate any input on whether you notice any ban messages when visiting my site.

I assumed you are using somesort of a cache plugin as well, if not there is no way that the ban still persist.

yes, I'm using wp-cache.  I tried clearing out the cache with no luck as well as removing it and reinstalling.  I have since removed wp-ban so nobody gets the banned.
