All Good Things Must Come To An End

As you all know, I have been doing WordPress plugins and supporting it for the past 6 years. These 6 years of my life, I have been through my polytechnic education, my national service as well as my university education.

I just graduated from university in December 2009 and have been looking for full-time jobs. I am offered a full-time job and will be starting work on 1st February 2010.

I regret to say that I am NOT ABLE to provide support for my plugins anymore due to my full-time job commitment. I will leave this forum open and let the community help one another.

However, I WILL still update my plugins whenever I can and you still can report bugs to me via email and I will try to fix it.

Error installing WP-Stats 2.50
« on: 13 June 2009, 01:06 »
I got this error:

Fatal error: Class 'WP_Widget' not found in /var/www/vhosts/vegasnews.com/httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/wp-stats/wp-stats.php on line 679

This is on WP 2.7.1.

Also, unrelated to this is that you aren't consistent about naming the modules vs. how they appear after installation.  For example, WP-Stats appears in the Settings list as "Stats" -- it should be "WP-Stats".    "WP-PostViews Widget" appears as "Most Viewed" in the Widgets menu. This is unnecessarily confusing.

WP-Stats 2.50 is meant for WP2.8.

Last time before WP Plugins SVN was borned, all is without "wp-" and hence I keep it this way. WP- is just to meant it is a WordPress Plugin. WP- In the settings is not necessary.
