All Good Things Must Come To An End

As you all know, I have been doing WordPress plugins and supporting it for the past 6 years. These 6 years of my life, I have been through my polytechnic education, my national service as well as my university education.

I just graduated from university in December 2009 and have been looking for full-time jobs. I am offered a full-time job and will be starting work on 1st February 2010.

I regret to say that I am NOT ABLE to provide support for my plugins anymore due to my full-time job commitment. I will leave this forum open and let the community help one another.

However, I WILL still update my plugins whenever I can and you still can report bugs to me via email and I will try to fix it.

Stats Style in Sidebar
« on: 25 July 2007, 16:44 »
Hi GaMerZ,

your stats plugin is awesome, nothing comes close to it. I have some questions because of the style of the stats in the my sidebar.

I'm using the newest stats plugin 2.11 on my new website www.derfrison.com WP 2.2.1

I have listed the top 3 most viewed, highest rated and most commented posts on my sidebar. Right now the name and the number look seperated. Instead of having the thin line between of the name and number, I would like to have them under the name and number to seperate the posts better to make it a cleaner looking. Also a bigger space between the header of "3 highest rated" "3 most viewed" and the last post listed above it. And how can I get the dash "- 56"  in front of the number to disappear?

I'm using the lemon lime theme. Attached you can find the css style file and the rightnav file. Hope that helps. Thank you very very much.

Alex

Open up postviews.php, find:
Code: [Select]
- $post_views ".__('Views', 'wp-postviews')."</li>\n"Replace:
Code: [Select]
</li>\n"

Thanks for the quick answer. But I don't want to disappear the whole number, just the minus symbol "-" in front of the number. I figured out how to do it now, but it also deletes the "-" on my Blog Stats Page  http://derfrison.com/stats/

And also I don't want to have the number which belongs to the post under the thin line in the sidebar, I rather would like to have it above, so you can see it belongs together.

Also, if you go to my 404 page, for example http://derfrison.com/bie-uns-tu-huus/32/
There is no author name behind the post, just "()" any reason for that?

Sorry GaMerZ that I'm bothering you

Thanks

Alex

you can't have it, it must be both the same. as they are calling the same function.

Regarding the missing author name, make sure your author have a nickname, first name and last name in his profile.

Because of the author name, it's showing on the stats page, but not on the 404 page. Shouldn't be show it there too then?

Because of the symbol "-" I understand. But how can I make it happen to have it in the sidebar together, not like

this is a test post
----------------

this is a test post 2
------------------

Instead:

this is a test post
----------------

this is a test post 2
------------------

 ???  Thanks Alex

that I think is your css style, you might want to contact the theme author for it as I css is not my cup of tea.

Regarding the author, thanks, I fixed it and will be in the next release.
