All Good Things Must Come To An End

As you all know, I have been doing WordPress plugins and supporting it for the past 6 years. These 6 years of my life, I have been through my polytechnic education, my national service as well as my university education.

I just graduated from university in December 2009 and have been looking for full-time jobs. I am offered a full-time job and will be starting work on 1st February 2010.

I regret to say that I am NOT ABLE to provide support for my plugins anymore due to my full-time job commitment. I will leave this forum open and let the community help one another.

However, I WILL still update my plugins whenever I can and you still can report bugs to me via email and I will try to fix it.

Can your phone browse web pages normally as in like your blog url, not wap because WAP is a very old technology.
Yes, I can see the blog URL, but the E815 is a cell, not a PDA. Hence it's not very useful to read the page that way. Probably another solution I could use would be a mobile CSS file. If I could see on my phone viewing wp-wap.php, what I see in Fx and Opera, it would be perfect.

Sounds like the whole phone browser thing is getting out of hand with standards. Looks like I need a plug in that does both wml and xhtml.  Argg!  I see your point on supporting the plugin!

Just a thank you also, I use a lot of the plugins.  Piggie :@)

Ok thanks! I added the wmlbrowser plugin and now all is fine with Fx.

I may have answered my own question why my Motorola E815 phone can't render wp-wap.php pages in the process.

I have tiny php script that I can put on my server to test what type of browser is reading the script. I can post it if it does anyone any good, I found it, didn't write it.  Anyway it says my phone is a vnd.wap.xhtml style browser.

So is that why my phone can't render your wp-wap.php pages?

Thanks.

My phone seems to work on any other wap site, but even the test site ( http://www.lesterchan.net/wordpress/wp-wap.php) comes up on my Browser as "Request Page can not be displayed"

Anyone have a clue? I know little of why the code won't render on my OpenWave browser built in the phone.

It also tries to download in Firefox 2.0.0.5 if I try to view the page with it. Opera works fine viewing the pages so I know the pages are working.
