All Good Things Must Come To An End

As you all know, I have been doing WordPress plugins and supporting it for the past 6 years. These 6 years of my life, I have been through my polytechnic education, my national service as well as my university education.

I just graduated from university in December 2009 and have been looking for full-time jobs. I am offered a full-time job and will be starting work on 1st February 2010.

I regret to say that I am NOT ABLE to provide support for my plugins anymore due to my full-time job commitment. I will leave this forum open and let the community help one another.

However, I WILL still update my plugins whenever I can and you still can report bugs to me via email and I will try to fix it.

Oh well, it would have been a fine addition.  If it pleases you, a soon to be high-profile web site is using your plugin :)

If we manage to fix the //style URIs issue, I'll post the fix on the other thread.

WP-Wap / Bug report: Plugin is confused by //style URIs
« on: 28 August 2007, 17:10 »
Our site relies mostly on //whatever.com style URIs, instead of using http://.  This is not a normal behavior, so it wasn't surprising to see this plugin confused by it.  We will look into the code and try to fix it ourselves, but if Mr Chan would like to fix the official version, as well, we would appreciate it.

Here's an example page where this happens.   Beware that's a WAP link.  On the bottom, there's a link to our wiki, but since it's in the http-less format the WAP plugin parses it as //spreadopenmedia.org//wiki.xiph.org/index.php/Spread_Open_Media/en/Why_Open_Media_Matters as opposed to //wiki.xiph.org/index.php/Spread_Open_Media/en/Why_Open_Media_Matters

It concatonates the address of the blog and the external link.

Interestingly, you'll notice that SMF here has a similar issue if using // on the url element in bbcode.

WP-Wap / Feature request: Being able to browse static pages
« on: 28 August 2007, 17:02 »
Hi, Mr Chan.

Beforehand I would like to thank you for coding this neat and very useful plugin for WordPress.  I may actually donate some Euros if our users at SOM have a use for WAP browsing, but I digress.

I have been testing WAP browsing through an online emulator, and I noticed that static pages do not show up at all.  Since many WordPress installations have a lot of content on static pages, would it not be a good idea being able to browse them through WAP, too?
